PREVIEW-Detroit Cass Tech vs KALAMAZOO CENTRAL

The stage is set for game four of the 10th annual 2K Showcase! The defending Division 1 state champions, the Technicians from Detroit Cass Tech, go head-to-head with the Maroon Giants of Kalamazoo Central.

Detroit Cass Tech (13-1), ranked #4, is no stranger to the spotlight, bringing a championship pedigree to the showcase. Led by a balanced attack featuring their playmaker, unsigned senior Derek Miller, alongside the athleticism and toughness of sophomore Corey Sadler, who is also a five-star football recruit, the emerging talent of freshman Stevie Hall, one of the top prospects in Michigan's class of 2027, and the double-double machine, junior Lee Harris, all provide a balanced attack for Coach Steve Hall.

Kalamazoo Central (8-4) enters the event looking to build momentum as we approach the last stretch of the season. Coach Ramsey Nichols has a strong 2026 class anchored by one of the states top sophomores, Isaiah Theodile, sophomore TJ Terrentine adds versatility to the lineup as he is able to play and guard multiple positions on the floor. Unsigned senior floor general David Nichols III will be dictating the tempo.

This matchup is the perfect blend of young talent and experience. As the game unfolds, keep an eye out on how each team handles the ball under pressure and who controls the pace.

With the state tournament in March looming, expect both teams to play at a high level from start to finish.
