PREVIEW-MUSKEGON VS GR CHRISTIAN

The final game of the 10th Annual 2K Showcase brings together two of the most successful programs in the state over the past decade: the #2 Muskegon Big Reds (Division #1) and the #2 Grand Rapids Christian Eagles (Division #2).

Muskegon (11-1), making its fifth appearance in the showcase, has long been revered as one of the state's most respected programs. Led by Coach Keith Guy, the Big Reds have maintained their dominance, with explosive sophomore James Martin, unsigned senior Justin Watson is known for his sharpshooting abilities, while Montrel Oliver adds versatility on the wing to the team. Senior guard M'khi Guy, a standout in football as well, brings toughness and leadership to the squad.

Grand Rapids Christian (13-1) is enjoying its strongest start since the 2016-2017 season under the guidance of Coach Eric Taylor. The team is anchored by senior Jaylan Ouwinga (Toledo), who is capable of dominating him to excel on both ends of the floor. Unsigned senior Nate Johnson contributes athleticism and versatility while also serving as the heart and soul of the team. Malachi Hooiser II controls the tempo of the game, and senior Carter Goodyke's consistent improvement provides additional depth to the Eagles' front line.
